20 Years Since High School?!

This June marks 20 years since my high school graduation. How is that even possible?!

These girls - Alicia, Erin, Amy, and Lori - have been my friends for what seems like forever. We all live in different cities in 4 different states now, but when we got together for a weekend at the beach in March, it felt like no time had passed at all. I am so grateful for their friendship.

It was a great year! And it's so fun to look back on these posts and see how much they have grown and the fun we have had over the years.

Christmas in Kentucky

This year we drove across the country to be with our Kentucky family for Christmas! We celebrated Christmas Eve at Kody's parents restaurant, Cloud's Country Kitchen.

After dinner, we came home and got the kids ready for bed. It was time to say goodbye to Mr. Elf so Chris read his story and then The Night Before Christmas...

The kids got up bright and early the next day and were so excited that Santa had come!

Then baby Raven came over to join in the festivities!

The day after Christmas C.C. and Uncle Bob came to visit us from Ohio. They brought fun presents and we had a great time playing in the park.

2014 Family Pictures

November 2014: Grammy's Frigid Visit, Thanksgiving, Hiking in Staunton Park & The Nutcracker

My mom came to visit in mid-November...and it was FREEZING!! We had a great time in spite of the frigid weather and even had a chance to play in the snow when it warmed up a bit.

This year, we stayed in Colorado for Thanksgiving and celebrated with some dear friends. I didn't take any pictures of our Thanksgiving Day Parade PJ Breakfast and only took one shot of dinner prep!

On the Saturday after Thanksgiving, we took a hike in Staunton Park. The weather was incredible.

October 2014: Halloween

This year Paige was Super Girl and Tyler was Optimus Prime. For Ty, I had to accept the fact that we are moving on from the cute, little boy costumes, but his excitement about this get-up made up for it. As usual, we headed to downtown Evergreen with some friends to trick-or-treat at all the shops.
