Easter Weekend / April 2014
We celebrated Easter with the Allbrittons this year.
The weather was crummy, but that didn't stop the egg hunt fun!
Remember these punchy balloons...they were the favorite prize of the evening!

Girls Weekend in Steamboat Springs / February 2014
Well...it's not a good sign when I have to a put a date in the title of my blog entry. I am going to catch up on a few memorable events from this spring and then hopefully get back on track this summer (fingers crossed).
Claire and Kaia came to visit in March and we took a road trip to Steamboat Springs for some skiing, shopping, soaking, and playing in the snow.

Playing Ketchup!
OK, where have YOU been?!...

Just kidding, you've probably been wondering what happened to my once, maybe twice, a month blog post???! Well, I am going to blame my slacking on the Christmas hustle and bustle, a job change, and the fact that I have been choosing to take more iPhone photos rather than lug my "big" camera around.
HOWEVER...I am back today because I realize that this blog has become a photo journal of our family history. And since I don't scrapbook or print pictures and put them in albums, I want to make sure I at least post a monthly thought, comment, and some pictures here so that we can look back and remember these days of having young kids. They are precious and fleeting. So without further adieu...a random smattering of fun in the snow and Christmas 2013.
Both kids will play for hours in the driveway after a good snow. I love how they get consumed in their work.
I had to post this one because Tyler is in this wonderful stage of being either extremely joyful or horribly miserable depending on if things are going his way...this, of course, is the latter.
I love this girl and her toothy grin!
In spite of her Florida roots, Ripley has become quite the snow dog. It is so neat to watch her with the kids now that they are older and can really care for her.
My Mom, Robb, and Aunt Donna came for Christmas this year...these are pictures of my Mom reading Christmas Eve stories before bed.

And then there was the joy of Christmas morning when Santa brought bikes, scooters, and remote control trucks for Paige and Tyler. Even though it wasn't a white Christmas, it was a beautiful day to play outside with all their new toys!
