Keep 'em coming, please!

Well, they only completed part of Nana's surgery last week as the doctors' encountered much more scar tissue on her heart than expected. So, they are preparing to go back in and finish the valve replacement early this week. As you can imagine, this has been very hard on Nana's 83-year-old body. Please continue to pray for her.

I pray for healing on her heart and that she has strength physically and emotionally for the recovery. I pray for courage, support, and wisdom for our family, her loved ones who are helping her through this. I especially pray for Pop as he stays by her side through this process.

Prayer Request

Please pray for Chris's Nana (her name is Pat Fink) as she undergoes heart surgery to have a few valves replaced today. She is at Shands in Gainesville and getting some of the best treatment available. The surgery will begin around 10/11am and will last up to 8 hours. Thank you!

This and that

Paige loves eating and bathtime a lot!!

Anna Maria Island

Chris surprised me by planning a beach weekend for my 30th birthday! Here are some pictures of the fun we had...

Thank God I'm a Country Girl!

We went to Danville, Kentucky over the Labor Day weekend. Paige had a true taste of the country life at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Here she is riding a John Deere with her cousin Wyatt!

These cousins are best buddies!!

Beach Bum

Here are some pictures of Paige enjoying the ocean in Stuart. She crawls right into the crashing waves with no fear and loves every minute of it!
We also went out on the boat with my parents and she crawled around on the sandbar!

Welcome to my 1st blog site ever!

Well, I guess it was inevitable that I would enter into the blogging scene at some point. My purpose is to post pictures and updates about our family for our closest family and friends...that's you! Please check back regularly.

Paige just turned 1 -year-old on August 17 so I will be posting pictures of her 3 (!) birthday parties...one in Stuart with Grammy, Grandpa D, Aunt Claire, Cousin Kaia, and Aunt Donna, one in Orlando at a local park with many friends, and then one in Kentucky with Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Kaley, Aunt Heather, and Cousin Wyatt! Needless to say, we had lots of cake and many presents!

In fact, in lieu of gifts, the guests at our Orlando party brought donations for the Girls and Boys Town of Central Florida. We received art supplies, ride-on push toys, a tricycle, clothes, stuffed animals, action figures, etc. Paige and I went there on Monday to drop the toys off. The children, who ranged in age from 6 months to 3 years old, were so sweet and were eager to play with Paige. In fact, two of the children took her hands and helped her walk around their play room. So it was a nice visit and I am so thankful they have a safe place to go to...I pray that their stay there is temporary so they can get back with their families or placed with new families who will give them the love they deserve. Would you pray for them too?

That's all for now. I will post pictures asap.
