Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow! (Christmas Part 2)

We had a wonderful Christmas in Kentucky this year. There was plenty of family and lots of festivities. We began Christmas eve day by decorating Grandpa's cookies...

We got dressed up and headed out to Christmas eve mass followed by a delicious dinner prepared by Grandma.

Then it was time to set out the cookies for Santa and get to bed. Paige was sooo excited for Santa and Rudolph to find her in Kentucky...what could be better?! well...

How about waking up to a beautiful blanket of SNOW on Christmas morning!!!

Santa brought Paige just what she asked for....a "water shooter" for the pool. He also got Wyatt one so they could play together.

Tyler was extremely intrigued by the Buzz Lightyear bowl and cup set that he got...he kept putting his face in the bowl. :)

After opening our stockings and some presents, it was time for Paige to really have some fun in her first snow!

Sledding, snowballs, snow shoveling, catching snowflakes on her tongue...even Tyler got into the action!

Tyler was teething...on Grandpa's nose...and lo and behold, 2 bottom teeth appeared!

As is usual when we visit, we made a stop for lunch at the Shaker Village where we enjoyed a homemade meal and visited the farm animals.

Paige loves Grandpa and Grandma's dogs, Nicki and Mandy. And they love her....

Wyatt is quite fond of Ty Ty and was eager to hold him and carry him around the house...

But I think he liked wrestling and cuddling with Uncle Chris the most!!

Luke 1:30

Paige had her Christmas program and her class sang a song and recited a couple Bible verses including Luke 1:30 "Do not be afraid Mary for you have found favor with God."
Here she is when she first spotted us in the audience.

The class sang a song that goes " The Virgin Mary had a baby boy" with sign language.

Paige's buddies, Lily and Johan, from her 2-year-old and 3-year-old classes.
Paige's 4-year-old class teacher, Mrs. Haddad.

The Many Faces of Christmas Past - Part 1

Is it me or do these two kind of look alike?

Wilderness

So I am about to post our Christmas series...but I need to catch up on one more outing of note...to the "wilderness", you know, where you can experience firsthand the power of Spiderman... (if you have no idea what I am talking about, see previous post)
