Last weekend, we went on a little family vacation to Estes Park which is the town that sits at the entrance of the Rocky Mountain National Park. On Saturday, we drove up to 12,000 ft to the tundra areas of the park.

Paige turned 5 on the 17th of August so one of her "gifts" was to ride a full-size horse on a trail.
She rode a horse named Baron and she is still talking about the horse below, Big Jake.

The alpine forests are so pretty...we are looking forward to coming back when the leaves change colors.

On Sunday, we went back into the park to hike to Alberta Falls.

We ended the trip with more fun...go-carts and a big slide!
