Aspen

My mom came in town at the end of September and she watched the kids so that Chris and I could go to Aspen for a couple nights. It was sooo nice and the perfect time of year. We traveled over Independence Pass to get there...check out the fall colors! In Aspen, we stayed at the Limelight and had great meals at Big Wrap, Matsuhisa, Main Street Bakery & Cafe, La Palapa, and Paradise Bakery. We also enjoyed hiking near the Maroon Bells...and hiking to Hanging Lake in Glenwood Canyon.

 

When we got home, we took a drive up to Echo Lake with Grammy...it was COLD!
